Woodridge Estate Wedding Venue

The rolling hills of Balgowan in the KZN Midlands play host to one of our very favorite wedding venues. Class and elegance abound from the minute you drive through the large gates past the beautiful Nguni cattle. Quiet elegance and heartfelt hospitality greet you in this fantastically situated wedding venue. The glass front chapel offers views over the hills and is a perfect setting for you to exchange wedding vows.

Breathtakingly beautiful, the glass chapel overlooks a serene lake with panoramic views of the hills behind that create the perfect backdrop for your perfect day, and a memory that will last a lifetime. Situated just 8 km's outside Pietermaritzburg, Ishona Langa Wildlife Sanctuary is the ideal venue for that dream bush style wedding. The canopy of the indigenous acacias creates a tranquil bush veld mood in which to relax and enjoy yourself with your friends.

With the choice of two unique chapels, Bellwood allows you to have the wedding you have always dreamed of. Whether your dream is to have an intimate ceremony under a lush forest canopy or a ceremony in an old stone chapel.

Netherwood (Midlands)

Netherwood is a contemporary wedding venue located on a working angus stud farm in Nottingham Road in the KwaZulu Natal Midlands.
The design and layout was focussed around keeping the structures as quiet as possible - to allow the natural beauty of the surrounding area to speak for itself. Glass, steel and natural stone form the shell - with details in vintage sleepers. Both the Chapel and the Venue have frameless glass stacking doors that allow the outdoors to pour in, and opens up the structures to 360 degree views of the peaceful surroundings.

Waterwoods (Midlands)

Located in the Natal Midlands, not far from Nottingham Road, is this "one-stop shop", relatively new wedding venue. Catering for all size weddings with lots of facilities and offerings included, needless to mention the wonderful location, this is a venue a bride-to-be must see.

Nsingisi Lodge and Spa Wedding Venue

This is one of our favorite wedding venues. The rustic bush wedding venue has a number of options for your wedding format with their reception area being on either their magnificent deck under a wedding marquee, or up in their bar and dining area (our recommendation).

The staff is very friendly and always keen to help in whatever way they can. Their flexibility means that you are not confined to the same restrictions that other wedding venues impose, which brings another level of calmness to a typically stressful time of arranging your wedding.

Granny Mouse Wedding Venue

Overlooking Caversham Valley, Granny Mouse’s glass fronted wedding chapel is a beautiful building. It’s 150 guest capacity will cover many wedding needs and the air conditioning makes all the difference for a summer wedding.

The “Caversham Room” reception area is close to a blank canvas and in this author’s opinion needs to be draped, however that being the case for many weddings, this is just a feature to account for.
